Some Editor Features:
* Syntax coloring for Objective-C.
* Just like we already do for C/C++, Java.
* Function pop-up menu knows Objective-C methods.
* You can move forward/backward a function at a time.
* This option does not show up in the menus by default but can be
adjusted under the Command and Keybindings Panels.
* By default the keybindings are:
Next Function Ctrl-Opt-Down
Previous Function. Ctrl-Opt-Up.
* Automatic code formatting has been added.
* C/C++ or Java (we don't have Java but could be handy for somebody out
there).
* New text searching options include the following.
* Search in comments only.
* Search outside comments only.
* Search everywhere.

C'mon, Ron. I've been waiting since gold 9... I've seen the deaths of
two of the three targets I need... I probably won't upgrade to the next
Codewarrior until 10 or so, but throw me a bone here! :) >> Stay informed about: [ANN] New Editor Features for CWDS Mac OS 9 |

I'll add it as a suggestion

I've got a plugin that does this, but its for the CW Windows IDE only.
Mail my Metrowerks address (below) to get a copy.

Darn. I need Mac.
Although... I do use the Windows IDE occasionally, and it's there that I
*really* miss this key because I fall into Borland keyboard shortcuts
and get hopelessly confused when they don't work.

For deleting an entire line, I just use triple-click backspace. (or if
you don't like moving your hands off the mouse: triple-click, drag to
trash.)
As long as you're adding suggestions, I'd like:
A "Find" command that works in the currently active panel of the main
debugging window: I want to search in the stack trace pane, and I want
to search in the local variables pane.
and:
A "Find" command that works in a Debugger's Variable or Array window. If
you've got a struct with lots of fields, it would be nice to use Find to
scroll to a specific field, rather than trying to find it by eyeball.
and
a Find Previous - convenient way fo finding the _previous_ occurance of
a search string in the file, since we already have a Find Next. Now, I
have to remember the line number, go back to the top, and Find Next
until I'm back at my starting place, and remember what the previous
match was. Pretty tedious. >> Stay informed about: [ANN] New Editor Features for CWDS Mac OS 9 |

Type-select works now.

Command-shift-g.

Added as suggestions.

Another method that I use a lot is to shift left or right (Cmd-] or
Cmd-[), which will select all of the text on a line after after changing
the tabs, and then you can simply hit the delete key.

Isn't that just shift-(whatever)?
